Halo 3: Free Map on Bungie Day! + Legendary Map Price Drop Written Thursday, July 03, 2008 by Alan Pettit Bungie just announced today in their weekly update that the new map Cold Storage will be available for free on "Bungie Day" which is next Monday July 7th. It is worthy of noting however that to play the map in normal rotation, you will also need the Legendary Maps, as that is the quickest way for Bungie to match people together. Which brings me to... Additionally it was announced that the Legendary Map Pack will be dropping from 800 to 600 Microsoft Points. | |

I have heard a lot about this map and again it sounds awesome. It is sad that it is only one map and not more, at least the good thing is that it does not cost to download it. And I will be able to play it because I already have the Legendary maps which I payed full price for (they are well worth the money). I will be playing Halo 3 all next week when this map comes out. |
